I created this print after a backpacking trip that changed everything. It was a journey of firsts—my first solo trek in the backcountry, my first visit to Yosemite, my first time hiking alone in the dark, and my first summit of Half Dome. Not long after, I decided to push past my fears and share my first post as Pepper Steps.

This piece is a tribute to stepping into the unknown, even when it’s scary. I hope when you look at it, you’re reminded that we are all capable of greatness—we just have to take that first step.
